HEY has been approved for manufacturing and distribution! This means we’ve arrived at the last stage of HEY: production and shipping!
Let’s get straight to the point.
Timelines:
- On August 27, members of the HEY team will be at the factory in China to perform the last formal quality check and to officially give the factory the green light to start up the production of HEY.
- September 10 to 13 - The HEY bracelets are shipped to the distribution centers in Europe and North-America (Canada is handled by N-A). Packages with destination Asia are sent directly from the factory to our Asian backers.
- September 14 to 18 - HEY is shipped from the DC's to the backers of our Kickstarter campaign.
Extra info:
- The HEY app will be available in the App Store and Google Play before we start the shipment of the bracelets.
- This update focuses on the backers of the Kickstarter campaign. Pre-order customers will receive a separate update about their shipping timeline in the next couple of weeks. We kindly request pre-order customers not to contact us about their shipping timelines, as we don’t have this information ready yet.

Just a little update to let you know that we’re expecting the certification results back next week!
Let’s keep our fingers crossed (maybe the toes too), that this is our jump-start to production :)
If the test results are positive (what we're counting on), we’re going to lead you through the next steps and timelines towards production.

Dear backer,
May we present to you: two HEY bracelets, comfortably snuggled up in the packaging they will eventually be safely transported in, from our distribution centers to your doorstep.
One of the things we're working on now is making the HEY app available for iStore and Google Play. When the app is online, you will be informed.

Dear backer,
As you all know HEY is being tested for product certification. And to be honest, we don't really have any other important news to share with you at this moment.
We have some photo's we made of the final HEY bracelet that we like to share with you. We hope you like them just as much as we do :)
The next big update will be about the certification. In the meantime, If we have any other important information to share with you, you'll be hearing from us.

A new backer update

Dear backer,
We promised to update you around May 25th. We waited a few extra days because we're expecting the arrival of an exciting package from our factory. This package should arrive in the next few days, but we didn't want to keep you waiting any longer. So here is an update on where we stand right now:
- The production line is set up and finalized. All the components for the bracelets are at the factory and the first 'factory finished' bracelets have been produced (spoiler: that's what's in the package).
- We have been in contact with the certification organization and we are going to make sure they will have additional bracelets available so that they can do tests in parallel. Certification tests take time, but we are doing our best to speed up the process as much as possible. Hopefully, we will pass certification quickly.
- We are finalizing the arrangements for shipping. We have selected distribution centers to ship the bracelets around the world. We will make sure everything is set up and ready so that the bracelets can be shipped immediately after production and certification are finished.
As promised, we will keep you up to date on the next steps in the process. Our next update will be published when we’ve received the package.
